Weight loss and a vegan diet are not always a winning combination. Although you may certainly lose weight if your dietary choices focus more on vegetables and plant based proteins, but in reality from my clinical practice experience, this notion does not always hold true and in fact, those who have cut out all foods originating from animal products did not lose weight and worse still, often gained weight!
