Which systems affect our skin health and how can we support them naturally?
As the body’s largest organ, the health and integrity of your skin are crucial to overall health. If compromised, not only will the skin reflect any imbalances in our body but its role as an effective protective barrier will also be reduced.
During this workshop, we will discuss the systems in our body that affect our skin health and how we can support them to ensure good skin health. We will discuss the importance of gut health as well as the role of sugar, and which nutrient-dense foods feed and nourish your skin that you should be including in your food choices.
Louise is a registered nutritionist with a particular interest in skin health, through seeing first-hand the effect the likes of eczema, psoriasis and acne can have on someone’s well-being. She recognises that there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach when it comes to skin health and that our skin is often a reflection of internal imbalances. By using her knowledge of the human body and nutrition she helps women address these imbalances so they can feel beautifully confident in their skin.
