Here’s how to add a splash of summer to your dishes, with a little help from nutritionist May Simpkin and a carton (or three) of Vita Coco.
I’m a London/Surrey based Media Nutritionist and Nutrition Consultant; let’s work together in person or online.
I have working with brands and publications of varying sizes to provide press commentary as well as feature articles. Some of the media publications I have written or contributed to are featured below.
I’m passionate about making healthy eating and lifestyle easy and accessible and I’m happy to collaborate with companies and brands to provide support as an influencer or ambassador to work with products that I am genuinely able to present. As a media nutritionist, I have worked with a number of brands and publications of varying sizes to help increase their exposure. Current ongoing collaborations include The Cookaway, a recipe box delivery service, where I am Head Nutritionist for the brand, across all cuisines including my own Healthy Cookaway Meals.
I can bring a fresh approach and real solutions for an easy, achievable, realistic approach, not only to food but a healthy lifestyle in general. My talks are relaxed and without formality, yet engaging and captivating. Nutrition is my passion! I focus on motivating and inspiring my audience to make positive, sustainable changes to their health, delivering potentially complicated concepts in an easy to understand way. With knowledge and deeper understanding, making change is much easier. I have delivered nutrition talks online as a webinar or live, at exhibition stages, including at The Ideal Home, Olympia
I have been running my Health Retreats in the Loire Valley, France since 2014 at Chateau de la Vigne; a property that I own and have run as holiday properties since 2001. With my professional expertise and extensive experience, I can help you arrange your own retreat (any type) or corporate gathering away from the office. Chateau de la Vigne as a venue is set up to offer fully catered, luxury accommodation with as much nutrition, yoga, massage, wine tasting, vineyard visits as you choose.
When it comes to healthy eating, I believe in quick and easy nutritionally balanced meals. As a wife and mother of 3 grown-up children, I understand the practicalities and challenges of daily life and put delicious healthy meals at the heart of a thriving lifestyle. I believe in eating real food, ideally, cooking from scratch, to create simple meals that are nutritious, colourful and flavoursome.
I love presenting cooking demos and introducing simple cooking concepts and techniques to inspire healthy meals to suit any lifestyle. I endeavour to empower confidence in the kitchen to ensure vitality and energy and lifelong health.
I’m based in London/Surrey and happy to travel if necessary. Please get in touch with details of your event and I’d be delighted to work with you to discuss your requirements and help you with the best approach. Feel free to email me on email@example.com or call +44(0)7958 137225.

Bursting with important nutrients, such as protein and vitamin D, fish is a stellar choice of food to eat. The NHS recommends that a healthy, balanced diet should include at least two portions of fish each week, as it’s a good source of vitamins, minerals and, depending on the fish, omega-3. We chatted to UK registered nutritionist MSc […]
Bored of your go-to with fish and two veg? We hear you. Time to step into a more creative zone and enjoy your favourite fish in new and more interesting ways. And even if you’re not a pro at cooking, our inspo makes it surprisingly simple and convenient. We asked registered nutritionist May Simpkin to share her […]
Nutritionist May Simpkin said: “James and Adele are two extremes, in that one is an athlete who is in the gym a lot, building muscle, so his daily requirements are massive, and the other does not have much fat there to create the energy needed to cope. “Without the nutrient profile and the calories specifically […]
