Meal Planning: My simple approach for healthy meals every day

This week, I’ll be sharing the approach I have used over the years with a busy family life and the way I have adapted now that I have an empty nest! We’ll focus on smart meal planning strategies; from deciding what to make, shopping for ingredients before we head into the kitchen together for a live cookalong, to prep for the week ahead.
Thursday 8th April 9:00-9:30am
Part 1: We’ll discuss the basic principles you can use to plan your meals in advance so you don’t have to start from scratch each day. I’ll share my tips to make sure your larder is well stocked and how you can use these ingredients to make every day cooking easy and simple.
Friday 9th April 9:00-9:30am
Part 2: We’ll make a plan for the week ahead, taking into account the numbers you’re cooking for and dietary preferences. We’ll then prepare a shopping list of fresh ingredients to avoid waste and maximise their use; saving you time and money.
Saturday 10th April 3:00pm-4:00pm
Part 3: We’ll cook the meals together so you’ve got 3-4 meals ready for the week ahead. During this session, I’ll show you how to make the best use of your time in the kitchen so you can prepare a variety of meals ready to pop into the oven or finish off when you’re ready to eat.
